Grant will challenge Capitol Hill on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Grant and Capitol Hill will really light up the scoreboard.
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Grant ultimately got the result it was hoping for last week. They took their matchup against Southeast 40-27. The score was all tied up at the break, but Grant were the better team in the second half.
Meanwhile, their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Capitol Hill, but their most recent match may have softened the blow. They took their match against Northwest Classen by a conclusive 48-27 score. Capitol Hill were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Their wins bumped Grant to 2-2 and Capitol Hill to 2-4. In their victory, Grant relied heavily on sophomore Dorian Wilson, who rushed for 167 yards and 2 touchdowns. Capitol Hill will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
