Baseball Game Preview: South Walton Seahawks vs. Bay Tornadoes

For the second straight game, South Walton will face off against Bay. The Seahawks will be playing at home against the Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Walton will be looking to extend their current 15-game winning streak.

South Walton is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They didn't even let Bay on the board, marking the Seahawks' second-straight 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Seahawks, who have now won 18 games by six runs or more so far this season.

South Walton let Cameron Tipton-Thomas and Coleman Borthwick run wild. Tipton-Thomas went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and two runs, while Borthwick went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI Tipton-Thomas has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Jackson Perkins, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.

South Walton pushed their record up to 25-3 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Bay, their loss dropped their record down to 15-11.
