Tattnall Square Academy barely beat Stratford Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trojans put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 11-3 victory on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won eight matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.
Reese Covington was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Carsyn Atwater, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Tattnall Square Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in three consecutive contests.
Tattnall Square Academy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.
