Basketball Recap: Jefferson Davis Academy's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

Jefferson Davis Academy entered their matchup against Andrew Jackson Academy on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Jefferson Davis Academy Raiders fell 60-53 to the Andrew Jackson Academy Warriors. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 81-61 back in December of 2024.

Void is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games he's played. Colson Loadholt was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 11 boards.

Even though they lost, Jefferson Davis Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Andrew Jackson Academy only racked up six assists.
