Football Recap: Cohasset Makes It Four in a Row at Home

Cohasset extended their home winning streak to four games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Gus Greene. The Skippers walked away with a 27-14 victory over the Silver Lake Regional Lakers on Friday with plenty of help from Greene, who rushed for 214 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.9 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 103 rushing yards dating back to last season.

One reason for the win was Cohasset's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Chris McSweeney was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself.

The win got Cohasset back to even at 1-1. As for Silver Lake Regional, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cohasset will square off against Plymouth North at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Silver Lake Regional, they will take on Arlington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
