The Legacy Lightning will take on the Fort Collins Lambkins at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Legacy knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Fort Collins likes a good challenge.

 Legacy had a senior duo take command as  Matthew Allshouse  dropped  a triple-double on ten points, ten  rebounds,  and ten  assists and  Trey Johnson  went 6 of 11  on his way to 16 points in addition to six  rebounds and four  blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most  points  Johnson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jake Puttkamer, who  posted nine points.
Meanwhile, Fort Collins was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They took a  blow against Loveland, falling  66-38. While losing is never fun, the Lambkins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings  (they are ranked 187th, while the Red Wolves are ranked 37th).
 Legacy will need focus on slowing down  Marcus Burkett, one of several Fort Collins players who made an impact when they last played. He  went 5 of 8  on his way to 17 points and three  blocks. The dominant performance gave  Burkett a new career-high in  blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of  Finn Reiser, who  had seven points.
 Legacy's victory  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 5-5. As for Fort Collins, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.
 Legacy beat Fort Collins 72-59  in their previous matchup  back in February of 2024. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Fort Collins'  Jayce King, who  went 14 of 31  on his way to 35  points.
