After having lost a blowout in their previous game against King, Denby was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They blew past the Pershing Doughboys 11-1. The Tars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by ten runs or more this season.

Denby now has a winning record of 4-3-1. As for Pershing, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Denby will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Doughboys: the pair will be back at it again later today.
