Linden-Kildare is a perfect 3-0 against Jefferson since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Linden-Kildare Tigers will challenge the Jefferson Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. Linden-Kildare is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10 runs per game this season.

Linden-Kildare had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 16-run drubbing they dealt Liberty-Eylau on Saturday. Linden-Kildare blew past Liberty-Eylau 19-3. The victory was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Allie Watson was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. She also put up a double, which washer first of the season. Zaliyah Mitchel was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Linden-Kildare was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .474. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .364 or higher in five consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Jefferson beat Palestine 9-6 on Friday.

Linden-Kildare's record now sits at 3-1. As for Jefferson, their record is now 4-2.

Everything went Linden-Kildare's way against Jefferson in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, as Linden-Kildare made off with a 9-3 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Linden-Kildare since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
