Cheyenne Wells has gone  a perfect 4-0 against Branson/Kim recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Saturday. The Tigers will host the Bearcats  at 1:00  p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Cheyenne Wells is headed into the  game after thoroughly thrashing Hanover: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Tigers blew the Hornets out of the water with  a  75-6 final score. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
 Cheyenne Wells didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Kelby Leonard and  Trevin Smith. Cheyenne Wells received some extra help from  Kooper Brossman, whose fumble return for a touchdown  made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Meanwhile,  everything came up roses for Branson/Kim against Primero on Saturday as the  squad secured  a  73-13 victory. The Bearcats haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive  win against them.
This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to  Will Doherty and  Acoya Bartlett. Doherty rushed for 137 yards and a pair of  TDs on only 14 carries while  Bartlett gained 126 total yards and three touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave  Bartlett a new career-high in  rushing touchdowns (three).
 Branson/Kim was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 237  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've managed all season.
 One reason for the win was Branson/Kim's imposing  defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Primero's QB  won't forget  Doherty anytime soon given he sacked him twice. Doherty's rushing production has been exceptional  recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 117  rushing yards.
 Branson/Kim's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Cheyenne Wells, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.
Saturday's   contest might be decided on the ground. Cheyenne Wells has been unstoppable on the ground this season,  having  averaged 231  rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Branson/Kim struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 164.5  rushing yards. There's a good chance Saturday's   matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
 Everything came up roses for Cheyenne Wells against Branson/Kim in their previous matchup  back in November of 2024, as the  team secured  a  58-8 victory. In that  game, the Tigers amassed a halftime lead of  50-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat  on Saturday.
