Landon Monaghan made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over 5.1 innings pitched. Maksimik got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs, while Boris went 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Maksimik is becoming a predictor of Shenandoah Valley's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 3-5 when he doesn't). Jostin Lajara also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
