Volleyball Recap: Holcomb Picks Up Second Consecutive Win

Holcomb won the last time they faced Ulysses and Delilah Galliart did her part to make sure it happened again. The Longhorns came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 2-0 on Saturday for which the team can thank Galliart, who had 19 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

The win made it two in a row for Holcomb and bumps their season record up to 16-3. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 3-12-2 Hugoton and 9-15 Ulysses. As for Ulysses, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-15.

Holcomb didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Dodge City on the 27th. As for Ulysses, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Hugoton on the 27th.
