It was a good run, but the Advanced Tech Academy Lakers unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a serious blow against Trillium Academy, falling 73-29. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Advanced Tech Academy has scored all season.
Trillium Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Keymarryon Fishburn, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Fishburn is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in the last nine games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylin Bradford, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Advanced Tech Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Trillium Academy, they pushed their record up to 14-1 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Taylor Prep the next time they take the court. Trillium Academy will host Taylor Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Advanced Tech Academy will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
