The South Cobb Eagles will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Dunwoody Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. South Cobb will be strutting in after a victory while Dunwoody will be coming in after a loss.
South Cobb can finally bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They managed a 43-39 win over Pebblebrook. The victory was just what South Cobb needed coming off of a 55-28 loss in their prior matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead South Cobb to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jordyn Martin, who scored 12 points. Martin continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. LaDashia Taylor was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Dunwoody, who are still winless after their 17th matchup. They were outmatched by Etowah on the road and fell 69-9. Dunwoody was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-6.
South Cobb's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-8. As for Dunwoody, they bumped their record down to 0-17 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road.
