Baseball Recap: Caruthersville Has No Trouble Against Clarkton

Caruthersville got themselves on the board against Clarkton on Friday, but Clarkton never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Reindeer. Considering the Tigers have won nine contests by more than eight runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Caruthersville has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Clarkton, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.

Coincidentally, Caruthersville and Clarkton will both be playing Campbell the next time they take the field. The Tigers will host the Camels at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Reindeer will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
