Seneca Valley put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season. They blew past Northwood 84-27 at home. Seneca Valley's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Seneca Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brielle Watson, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds. Watson is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last nine games she's played. Jayden Addison was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five assists and two steals.
Northwest can finally bid farewell to their nine-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against Springbrook by a score of 38-28. The win was just what Northwest needed coming off of a 58-27 defeat in their prior contest.
Seneca Valley is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Northwest, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-9.
Everything came up roses for Seneca Valley against the Jaguars when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 77-14 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Seneca Valley since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
