Analiese Howell made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kennedy Trieb, who went 3-for-4 with two triples, two runs, and two RBI. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Maci McLaughlin, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Trico unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of Goreville by a score of 14-12.
Emma Williams led a balanced group of hitters, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Aubrey Cotter was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.
Marissa/Coulterville is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Trico, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
