Adair extended the longest winning streak in 2A District 7 this week by beating Nowata, 28-21. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Warriors.
Oklahoma Union took down Chouteau-Mazie 34-3 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Caney Valley's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Trojans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jared Ward has thrown for 625 yards and one touchdown this season, while Kyle Knight has 11 catches for 198 yards. Ward also leads the league in rushing with 419 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Adair takes on the Wildcats. Mark Lippe's team is currently in first, while Chouteau-Mazie is in sixth.
The Cougars led 2A District 7 in scoring this week after putting up 34 points on Mark Vance's team.
