Volleyball Recap: Thursday's Win Is East Forsyth's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

East Forsyth won the last time they faced Eastside and things went their way on Thursday too. The Broncos walked away with a 2-0 win over the Eagles.

East Forsyth easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-15.

Chelsea Torrence paced East Forsyth's offense, picking up ten kills. Torrence got some help from Abby Larson and her 14 assists. Abrey Blanton and Julia Dunn kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

East Forsyth is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Eastside, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-19.

Coincidentally, East Forsyth and Eastside will both be playing Madison County the next time they take the court. The Broncos will head out to face the Red Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
