Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was James Dellavolpe, who threw for 348 yards and four touchdowns, and also punched in one TD on the ground. Warde is 5-1 when Dellavolpe posts three or more passing touchdowns, but 0-3 otherwise. A healthy portion of Dellavolpe's aerial production (135 yards to be exact) went to Andrew Shelov, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
