East Lyme put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Killingly Redmen. This was payback for the Vikings, who suffered a 2-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Tanner O'Brien was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Greyson Biggs also deserves some recognition as he got his first hits of the season.

East Lyme pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 8.8 runs this season. As for Killingly, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, East Lyme will be playing in front of their home fans against Stonington at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Vikings' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bears have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season. As for Killingly, they will venture away from home to take on Norwich Free Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
