The Dallas Mountaineers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Valley View Cougars at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Dallas will be coming into the  contest with an undefeated record on the line.
 Dallas put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season  on Friday. Everything went their way against Greater Nanticoke Area as Dallas made off with a  48-22 win. Given Dallas' advantage  in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings  (they are ranked 110th, while Greater Nanticoke Area is ranked 317th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
  Dylan Geskey had a dynamite game for Dallas, rushing for 185 yards and five touchdowns.  Hunter Pitcavage was another key contributor, rushing for 69 yards and  a touchdown.
 Meanwhile, Valley View put the finishing touches on their fourth blowout victory of the season  on Friday. They didn't even let Wyoming Area onto the board and left with a  20-0  victory. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as Valley View just coasted through the last quarter.
 Valley View had a senior duo take command as  Dom Memo rushed for 42 yards and  a touchdown and  Camryn Higgins rushed for 90 yards and  a touchdown.
 Dallas has yet to lose a  match at home this season, leaving them with a 12-0 record. They've been dominating during the  games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 25 points. As for Valley View,  the  victory  makes it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 10-2.
 Things could have been worse for Dallas, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a  31-14 loss to Valley View when the teams last played  back in November of 2022.
