Central Mountain had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt DuBois on Monday. Central Mountain put the hurt on DuBois with a sharp 10-4 win. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Beavers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Watt Probst was excellent, going 3-for-4 with one triple, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Felix Oquendo, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Probst wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Central Mountain kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as DuBois only managed six hits.

Central Mountain's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for DuBois, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Central Mountain will head out on the road to take on State College at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for DuBois, they will be playing at home against St. Marys at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be DuBois' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
