Milaca's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Thomas Leom, who scored ten points. Those ten points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Landon Hasz, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Annandale's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Milaca, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Annandale will face off against Legacy Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Legacy Christian Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 577 points over their last seven matches. As for Milaca, they will head out on the road to face off against Rush City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rush City is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
