Whittier RVT had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They fell to Southeastern RVT 24-35. Whittier RVT were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Southeastern RVT apparently hadn't forgotten their loss from the last time the teams met up. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Whittier RVT off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Southeastern RVT a 1-0 record.
Whittier RVT will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Randolph. As for Southeastern RVT, they will face off against Upper Cape Cod RVT.
