The Shiloh Christian Saints's three-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They managed a 70-64 win over Lamar. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Lamar's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ben Noonan, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 10 rebounds. Noonan scored a full 45.3% of Lamar's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lane Miller, who scored 12 points along with 7 rebounds.
Shiloh Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Lamar, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
Shiloh Christian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Valley Springs at 9:00 p.m. on December 8th. As for Lamar, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Wonderview at 7:00 p.m.
