The Sultana Sultans are taking a road trip to challenge the Oak Hills Bulldogs at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
Sultana is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Burroughs on Thursday as they made off with a 19-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Sultans, who have now won 12 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Maricruz Venegas was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Venegas was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Oak Hills had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They blew past the Sun Devils 13-2. That looming 13-2 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bulldogs yet this season.
CARSYN LEON spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Oak Hills got a massive performance out of JADE WHITMAN, who fired off two home runs, four RBI, and two doubles while going 4-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of KAYLA CAZARES, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.
Oak Hills lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Apple Valley didn't launched any home runs.
Sultana has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Oak Hills, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
