Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Jacksboro Tigers walked away with it. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 49-48 victory over the Eagles. Jacksboro's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
It was another big night for Lando Belcher, who threw for 414 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries. Luke Sams was another key contributor, rushing for 134 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries.
Jacksboro's win bumped their record up to 13-0. As for Holliday, their loss dropped their record down to 11-2.
Jacksboro will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Gunter at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st. Gunter has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 790 points over their last 13 matchups. Holliday does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
