This season hasn't been kind to The Ygnacio Valley Wolves, who are still winless after their tenth contest. They had to suffer through a rough 56-8 loss at the hands of Berean Christian. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Ygnacio Valley in their matchups with Berean Christian: they've now lost four in a row.
Berean Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hunter Inkster led the charge by rushing for 155 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob ?jake? silva, who picked up 148 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
Berean Christian's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB five times. Leading the way was Austin Ray and his two sacks.
Ygnacio Valley's defeat was their ninth straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-10. As for Berean Christian, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5-1.
Ygnacio Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Berean Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Mt. Diablo at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. Mt. Diablo is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
