Round Valley has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Anderson Valley Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Round Valley will be strutting in after a victory while the Panthers will be coming in after a loss.
Even though Point Arena scored an imposing 59 points on Friday, Round Valley still came out on top. Round Valley walked away with a 71-59 win over the Pirates.
Meanwhile, Anderson Valley's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 12th straight loss. They were outmatched by Point Arena on the road and fell 87-25. Anderson Valley was down 73-24 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Round Valley has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for Anderson Valley, their loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-14.
Everything came up roses for Round Valley against the Panthers when the teams last played back in January as the team secured a 85-31 win. With Round Valley ahead 42-19 at the half, the game was all but over already.
