Volleyball Recap: Horizon's Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

Horizon came into Tuesday's matchup having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mountain View Lobos on Tuesday. The contest marked the Scorpions' most dominant victory of the season.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Horizon took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-7, 25-13.

Bryanna Berber paced Horizon's offense, picking up 12 kills. Berber got some help from Casey Zambrano and her 20 assists.

Horizon's win bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Mountain View, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Horizon will head out to take on Parkland at 5:35 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Scorpions' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Mountain View, they will take on Bowie at 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday.
