After four games on the road, Highlands Ranch is heading back home. They will take on the Regis Jesuit Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Tuesday, it was a hard-fought contest, but Highlands Ranch had to settle for a 59-56 loss against the Sabercats.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Payton TerEick, who scored 11 points along with two steals. He hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was George West III, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Regis Jesuit faced the Huskies in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Regis Jesuit came out on top in a nail-biter against the Huskies on Tuesday and snuck past 66-64. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Regis Jesuit.
Lucas Dickinson was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Damarius Taylor was another key contributor, scoring 19 points.
Highlands Ranch has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. As for Regis Jesuit, their victory bumped their record up to 12-6.
