The Parrish Community Bulls can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent contest on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 66-45 margin over Bradenton Christian. The win was familiar territory for Parrish Community who now have four in a row.
Parrish Community was led to victory by Mary Portwood and Sarah Decker. Portwood scored 19 points, while Decker dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds. Decker is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Alexis Heuss, who scored eight points.
Parrish Community's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-5. As for Bradenton Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parrish Community will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Sarasota at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Bradenton Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Lakewood Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. Lakewood Ranch is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
