After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Grant, Anacoco was happy to have turned things around  on Tuesday. They never let the Merryville Panthers get on the board and left with  a   5-0  victory. The  win was a breath of fresh air for the Indians as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
 Kyle Scott was a major factor no matter where he played. He  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. Furthermore,  he didn't allow a single  earned run, the first time  he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with three  RBI and one  double. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in April of 2024.
 Scott wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Riley Hayes, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-3. That's the most  runs  Hayes has posted since back in April of 2024.  Caleb Dixon also deserves some recognition as  he  hit his first  double of the season.
