The Chipley Tigers waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They blew past Vernon 81-39 on the road. With Chipley ahead 40-20 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Albert McKinnie continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 29 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Hunter Prough, who scored 11 points.
Chipley has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season. As for Vernon, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-19.
Both teams will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Vernon is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for they, they will square off against Chipley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chipley has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 203 points over their last three contests.
