Everything went their way against the Johnson Eagles as they made off with a 21-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won three matchups by 14 runs or more so far this season.
Janiya King and Audrey Lumpkin were major factors no matter where they played. Throwing, King pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Lumpkin struck out six batters over two innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). King has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. At the plate, King got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, nine stolen bases, and four runs, while Lumpkin got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. In other batting news, Keith got a massive performance out of Taylor Tisdale, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, six stolen bases, and three runs.
