Chatham better focus on containing  Khalil Waller and  Rayshaun Logan as the pair were huge in Gretna's win. Waller rushed for 326 yards and three  scores while picking up 8.6 yards per carry, while  Logan rushed for 135 yards and three  touchdowns on only 11 carries. Those  135  rushing yards gave  Logan a new career-high. Gretna also got help from  Tysen Miller, who showed off his sure hands for 82  receiving yards.
 Gretna didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over.  Ja'Marion Jones-Carter led the group effort, picking up three of those  interceptions all by himself.
 Chatham's  victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-4. As for Gretna, their record now sits at 6-1.
