The Meadowbrook Colts's 14-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They walked away with a 49-40 win over Ridgewood. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Meadowbrook has managed all season.
Meadowbrook's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Masyn Campbell, who scored 18 points. Campbell continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Colton Delancey, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds.
Meadowbrook's win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-10. As for Ridgewood, their loss was their tenth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-10.
Meadowbrook the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome River View at 7:15 p.m. on January 23rd. Hopefully River View focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 last Sunday. As for Ridgewood, they will head out on the road to take on Edison at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Ohio (Edison is ranked 717th, while Ridgewood is ranked 727th).
