The Friends Academy Quakers had already won 13 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.3 points), and they went ahead and made it 14 on Thursday. They really took it to Lawrence for the full four quarters, racking up a 81-37 win at home. Friends Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Friends Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kyle Kramer, who scored 23 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. It was the first time this season that Kramer pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Bock, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 13 assists.
Friends Academy's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.1 points per game. As for Lawrence, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-19.
