Prospect is 0-5 against the Mustangs since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Prospect Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pioneer Mustangs at 7:00 p.m.
Last Friday, Prospect was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 49-43 to the Pirates. Prospect has not had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Meanwhile, Pioneer strolled past the Lions with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 52-35. The win made it back-to-back wins for Pioneer.
Prospect dropped their record down to 9-13 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Pioneer, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.
Things could have been worse for Prospect, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 58-39 loss to the Mustangs when the teams last played back in January.
