After a string of eight wins dating back to last season, the Kahuku Red Raiders's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They lost to Liberty on the road by a decisive 76-62 margin. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Jaden Riley was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaeden Castillero, who scored 13 points.
Kahuku's defeat dropped their record down to 6-1. As for Liberty, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Kahuku and Punahou will face off at 5:00 p.m. on December 11th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Punahou focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Saturday. Liberty won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Farrington at 2:30 p.m. on December 9th.
