After two games on the road, Simley is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Kennedy Eagles at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Kennedy took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Simley, who comes in off a win.
Even though Roosevelt scored an imposing 55 points on Wednesday, Simley still came out on top. Simley beat Roosevelt by the very same score they won with last week: 58-55.
Meanwhile, Kennedy took a serious blow against Jefferson on Thursday, falling 75-39. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Kennedy in their matchups with Jefferson: they've now lost seven in a row.
Simley's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-1. As for Kennedy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
Everything came up roses for Simley against Kennedy when the teams last played back in March of 2017 as the team secured a 75-42 win. Does Simley have another victory up their sleeve, or will Kennedy turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
