The Arabia Mountain Rams will head out on the road to square off against the Dutchtown Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Arabia Mountain turned things around against M.L. King on Monday. They put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 20-9 win. The Rams not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 15th (when they won 19-6).

Arabia Mountain got a massive performance out of Samiyah Zellars, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three stolen bases, and four runs. The dominant performance also gave Zellars a new career-high in RBI (five). Another player making a difference was Ariel Grandison, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one triple.
Meanwhile, Dutchtown won against Banneker two weeks ago with 19 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. Everything went the Bulldogs' way against Morrow as they made off with a 19-7 victory. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by ten runs or more this season.
Myli White was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with five stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Amelia Jones, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.
Dutchtown always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .781. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Arabia Mountain's record now sits at 8-15. As for Dutchtown, their record is now 10-13.
Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Arabia Mountain has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .643. However, it's not like Dutchtown struggles in that department as they've averaged .568. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Arabia Mountain took their win against Dutchtown in their previous meeting back in September of 2021 by a conclusive 17-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
