The Mountain View Bruins and the Copper Hills Grizzlies will meet  on Thursday for a tough Bear Battle. Mountain View knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Copper Hills likes a good challenge.
 Mountain View is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have all season. They came out on top against Cedar Valley by a score of  72-65  on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Bruins with their most commanding win of the  season.
 Mountain View's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Brennan Olsen led the charge by  earning 12 points along with three  steals. Another player making a difference was  Coleman Pearson, who  went 5 for 10 en route to 16 points plus seven  rebounds.
 Meanwhile, Copper Hills didn't have too much trouble with Skyline  on Friday as they won  64-50.
 Copper Hills' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Isaiah Reiser, who  went 6 for 11 en route to 18 points plus eight  assists and eight  rebounds. That's the most  assists  Reiser has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jacob Curtis, who  went 5 for 10 en route to 16 points.
 Mountain View now  has a winning record of 3-2. As for Copper Hills,  the  victory  got them back to even at 2-2.
