They came out on top against Jefferson Academy by a score of 51-38. That's another feather in the cap for Stargate School, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Leading Stargate School to victory were Dylan Perkins and Hunter Roark. Perkins scored 17 points along with six rebounds and two blocks, while Roark dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Perkins posted two or more blocks.
Jefferson Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jimeto Orji, who scored nine points along with six rebounds, and Josh Neely who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds.
Jefferson Academy struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Stargate School's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Jefferson Academy, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4.
