There's no place like home for Mountain Brook, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They never let the Woodlawn Colonels get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Wednesday. Considering the Spartans have won eight contests by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Mountain Brook is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. Woodlawn dropped their record down to 3-9 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mountain Brook will venture away from home to square off against Parker at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Parker's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for Woodlawn, they will head out to face off against Fairfield at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
