After two games on the road, Benjamin is heading back home. Having just played yesterday, they will get right back to it and host the Gulliver Prep Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on January 25th. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard on Thursday.
On Wednesday, Benjamin didn't have too much trouble with Inlet Grove on the road as they won 69-55. The win was just what Benjamin needed coming off of a 51-31 loss in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Gulliver Prep's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell to Sagemont 64-59. While losing is never fun, Gulliver Prep can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 88th, while Sagemont is ranked ninth).
Benjamin's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-10. As for Gulliver Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.
