Alexandria City and West Potomac are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2016, but not for long. The Titans will be playing at home against the Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Alexandria City will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Alpha Jalloh had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 153 yards and two scores while picking up 9.6 yards per carry. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last four times he's played. D'Angelo Duarte was another key player, rushing for 181 yards while picking up 11.3 yards per carry.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Alexandria City was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 336 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 214 rushing yards in three consecutive matchups.
Alexandria City didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Lucas Callahan and Anthony Spears. Another thorn in Woodson's side was Tommy Skinner, who made 12 total tackles.
Meanwhile, after only three points in their last game, West Potomac made sure to put some points up on the board against Hayfield on Friday. The Wolverines put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 33-7 win. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Wolverines' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.
West Potomac's win came from a few key players Alexandria City will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ben Knapp, who threw for 182 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 80% of his passes. What's more, he racked up 160.4 passer rating, the most he's had since back in November of 2024.
Alexandria City's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for West Potomac, the win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-3.
