Corona/Vaughn found their leader in underclassman Harper Dunn, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 18 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Dunn has scored at least a third of Corona/Vaughn's points. Kourtney Brandenberger was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with nine steals.
Corona/Vaughn's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Lake Arthur, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
