They took their game on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 73-28 victory over Western Tech & Environmental Science. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 44-19.
Pikesville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bree Taylor, who scored 17 points along with nine steals. Those nine steals set a new season-high mark for her. Mariah Jones-Bey was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight assists and six steals.
Pikesville's victory was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-2. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 32.54 points. As for Western Tech & Environmental Science, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
Pikesville will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Dulaney at 5:30 p.m. Dulaney will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Maryland Rankings (they are ranked 97th, while Pikesville is ranked 21st). As for Western Tech & Environmental Science, they will head out on the road to face off against Perry Hall at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
