The Chadron Cardinals lost against the Sidney Red Raiders back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Chadron fell just short of Sidney by a score of 49-46. Chadron has not had much luck with Sidney recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Several Cardinals players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Taegan Bach, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Taverra Sayaloune, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Chadron's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Sidney, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 22-0.
Chadron will face off against Mitchell at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Sidney does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
